Aisha
Set in Delhi, Aisha is living in her fantasy land shopping for designer ware, maxing credit card bills, attending Polo matches, freaking out with her yet another brat friend and playing Cupid to her behenji friend..When there are these girls, there has to be that many guys and by default all of them love our Aisha (Its my home production)..Abhay Deol is New York return investment banker and also her sister's bro-in-law..Aisha suffers pangs of jealousy when he returns with a sexy lady..After a series of mix and match among the cast and fight with friends, Aisha realises her shallow nature and the fact that love cant be arranged. She confesses her love to Abhay..Watch out if its too late??
Yet the movie lacks something..There are some loose unconnected scenes on why one is hooking up with the other one? Finally only Aisha and Abhay are left and have to love each other..Dialogues could have been more witty..Theres nothing memorable to take home..
This film comes close to all women crew and its well shot..Everyone and everything looks gorgeous..Films like Aisha sometimes makes you wonder, is life all about finding the right guy??
MY RATING : ***
PS: Watching movie first day first show!! Ah..the good old college days!!

nah.. these stupid books and movies make it seem like the main goal to any girl's life is finding that one special guy who gets to mess up her life in every way possible!
I am beginning to dislike these movies centered and revolving around love or the concept of it! I much rather see Kill Bill or pulp fiction or Inception sorts in bollywood! Imagine our desi hotties with blood, guns and bombs! ;)
*New blog design! Me like!
Its copy paste from blogger..See its not pink :(
Genial fill someone in on and this fill someone in on helped me alot in my college assignement. Say thank you you on your information.
Well, life isn't all about finding the right guy, but it sure would make life easier, won't it?
I hated the movie though! Its just unfair the way they portrayed south Delhi girls. And the clothes! God, if I was allowed to spend 53,000 bucks I'd have clothes like that too!
Some lines, specifically those spoken by Abhay Deol, were cute and witty. But I wish Sonam Kapoor could act. :)
I wouldn't watch it again, but it was okay for a single watch.
@Anonymous: on what information??
@Aditi: Somehow I feel the snobbish girls portrayal is real!!
